“Physical fitness is the first requisite of Happiness” - Joseph Pilates
My Why
I first began my Pilates Mat Certification in 2016 after having my first child and wishing to choose a more family friendly career. I'd grown to love Pilates after suffering from a neck and shoulder problem for many years, and found that the more gentle and mindful approach to exercise was more suited to my body. As a busy parent, I enjoyed the mindfulness aspect of Pilates, whilst also strengthening my body and improving my posture which helped alleviate my pains.
My Philosophy
Now that I'm a teacher, I try to weave these values into my classes and I enjoy the time spent teaching immensely. My Pilates classes are designed to be a warm and welcoming space where everyone feels comfortable, supported, and empowered, regardless of experience or fitness level. Whether you're stepping onto the mat for the first time or returning after time away, my hope is that you'll find an encouraging environment where you can progress at your own pace.
My Classes
While rooted in the classical Pilates method, I like to bring energy, creativity, and a touch of playfulness to each session. From mindful cues to movement variations and challenges, I try to make every class engaging while still grounded in strong technique and purposeful progression. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling stronger, more connected, and uplifted in body, mind and in spirit.
My Training
My training spans the full Pilates repertoire, from beginner to advanced levels, allowing me to tailor sessions to a wide range of client needs, abilities, and goals. During my time as a Pilates instructor, I’ve completed education with a number of Pilates training schools including Polestar Pilates, Peak Pilates and APPI Pilates in order to gain a breadth and depth of knowledge in both Classical and Contemporary styles. This foundation allows me to teach with precision, safety, and adapt exercises safely and effectively.
In My Spare Time
In my spare time I like to spend time with my family, go on walks with my friends and enjoy anything relaxation or food related!

“Sarah's Pilates classes are really excellent, and I have seen an improvement in the strength and flatness of my abdominals since starting the sessions. The classes are very fun and relaxed, at the same time as being a great workout.”
